Memorial Day
Today we went out for a bike ride together, just a short one over to a friends house where
we had been invited to a BBQ. We had taken our pool over earlier so that the kids could play
in it. Liza had a great time eating grapes, and icecream, blowing bubbles and playing in the
water (all of her favorite things!) and playing with two little friends named Madison and
Arden. They were more babysitters then friends (7 and 10 yrs) but they were nice to her
and she loved to play with them it was a nice afternoon. At about 3 we headed home and
took a little ride, and then we just got her down for a nap. (4:00) but she had a great day.
We have been invited to Walls for dinner tonight another BBQ, so she¹ll sleep hard tonight.
It is a beautiful day here in SLC hot hot hot.

Pretty

This morning Liza and I were trimming our nails and so I got out fingernail polish for the
first time. She is sure that these little bits of color on her toes and fingers have magically
turned her into a beauty queen. If you mention her toes or fingers she runs to you with them
all showing, just waiting for you to tell her how beautiful they are. This activity was a real
hit! She has been proud of them all day! It is so fun to see them get excited about what
they wear ect... An old story that I tried to post before about liza, On this same topic. She
loves to wear hats, but her favorite one, the one that she is sure is the most beautiful of all is
her Touque. She will get all dressed up for chruch on Sunday, and we go on about how
pretty she looks and she will run in her room pull her touque on and come out of her room
saying "Awe Pretty".
"Awe Pretty" is one of her favorite things to say right now, I hope that she is still into
saying it when you all see her agian because you kind of have to hear it to know how funny
it is. Another favorite comment is "Awe its cute." When we went up camping last
weekend Brent was showing her around and teaching her new words ect. He was triing to
teach her about moss on a rock. The concept of rock she knows, but then brent calling it
moss was confusing, so we were showing her the difference. We had her feel the moss on
a rock to know that it is soft, and the clown gets down, puts her face on the moss and said
"aw, its cute." She is silly. We are excited to come and play with cousins soon!!
