Chubs:
Well we had a drs appointment for Alex yesterday and he wieghed in at 6 lbs 3 oz!!!! and is now 19 1/2 inches! That is longer then Liza at birth! He now sports some pretty chubby cheeks, yet his hands and feet are still long and skinny! He is eating all the time and big feeds too. He is kind of starting to be awake more often, but much to lizas dismay, he still isn't playing babies with her! We'll keep you posted on any more news!

Grandma Tiffany: Glad to hear that he is doing so well!
Grandpa: WOW - thats great news!! .... and another 12 days to his normal birth date!
Auntie Patty: It is so good to hear that little Zander is doing so well. He should be playing babies any day now! The pictures are priceless - especially the one in the BIG carseat!
Watch what you say
We are starting to notice more and more each day how careful you have to be in talking around Liza. Never say anything that you don't want to hear comming out of her mouth. A couple days ago we were all going to the mall and so we were packed into the car, and Liza wanted to do up her own belt. She was having a little trouble and was taking quite some time at it, so Brent offered to help. As he reached for her seatbelt she pushed his hands away and said " Don't freek out!"
We have tossed around the blame for that one, but we can't decide who she got that from!
Carnival
The catholic church by our appartment set up a carnival on the lawn about a block away. The whole nine yards, rides, games, prizes. Anyway we forked out the big bucks for tickets, but Lizas delight over the rides was more then worth the $! She had such a great time! She has been talking about it for days! She went on the boats and the helecopter, the big slide and the merry go round. When it was all over she told me that she wanted to do that again. I made the mistake of mentioning the possibillity of going to the Stampeed where we would have tickets and go on the rides again. Now she is looking very foward to that. I sure hope it all pans out for her. :-)
Lizas Lucky Day
The Garbage Man is lizas hero! Everyday when she hears his truck, she runs to the window yelling, "It's my Lucky Day, its my lucky day." We pull up the blind and she watches the truck. The driver knows that she is there and waves to her, then he picks up the dumpster and backs up the truck so that liza can see all the garbage fall into the back. Then he puts the dumpster back down and backs up so she can see the truck smash it all down, all the while waving at her in her window. One day he got out of the truck and climbed up on top and kicked garbage into the back, and waved and put on a real show. We love the garbage man at our house. (except on saturday morning when he comes at 7:30 am!! and it is her lucky morning!)
