No More Mommy and Daddy

Liza has now decided that it is much cooler to call Brent and I Mom and Dad. So now its, "hey dad, whats on your shirt" "thanks mom!" It is just funny to see her change from the "little girls" way of calling us to the "big girls" way. She is growing up so fast I can hardly stand it. :-)

Predictions

We haven't really said much to Liza about the baby, mostly because we don't think that it would mean much to her but also because if she does understand that is a long wait. A couple of times we have mentioned the baby in family prayer, but that is about the extent of it. Well, about a week ago she starting singing a song that goes like this "baby brother, baby baby brother." I don't know where she picked it up, but she sings it when she is tired and falling asleep. So in the last week we have asked her twice, "Liza are you going to have a baby sister?" She thinks for a minuet and says "Um, no." then we ask "are you going to have a baby brother?' and she always answers excitedly "yes, baby brother." WILD! We'll see if she is right.
